A desire to research and understand indigenous craft practices has taken Maham around the world, providing her with bundles of inspiration and a unique perspective.

The Craft Revival project, which has taken her to Ethiopia, India and Sri Lanka, also gives Maham an opportunity to help potters in small communities develop and market their products, either for the local market or international export. It is not a case of charity; more a mission to showcase the design integrity and quality of the pottery while helping the potters feel proud and appreciated for their work.
